Privacy

Cavalence makes apps that keep your data on your own devices. This page explains what that means for our apps and for this website.

Our apps

Fontastik reads your handwriting on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Your photos, strokes and fonts are not sent to us. When you use more than one device, they sync through your own iCloud account, which Apple runs; we cannot see that data. Our apps have no accounts and no analytics or tracking.

The waitlist

If you join a waitlist, your email address is stored by our email provider, Buttondown, and used only to tell you about that app's launch. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
